Founded in 2017 by Katrina Kruse, our salon is home to Vero Beach’s most innovative hair stylists.     Kat Kruse

    FOUNDER, LIVED-IN COLOR + EXTENSIONS SPECIALIST

    Kat began her journey as a hairstylist in 2009. After interning at a prestigious beachside salon, she ventured to a high volume and high-paced salon floor of a corporate company.

    In 2017, Kat opened up her own space at Sola Salon and became the proud owner of Kat Kruse Hair. With a thirst for knowledge and a tenacious desire to perfect her craft, she continues to expand her skills and the boundaries of style.

    With the belief that all people should feel as good as they look, she specializes in natural lived-in hair color, K-tip hair extensions, and hair cuts for women.

    When Kat is not out enjoying the Florida sunshine, she can be found at Kat Kruse Hair Salon, educating herself and others in Health and Beauty.

    HAIR CUTTING SPECIALIST

    Born and raised in NYC, Delisa is a true artist and creative at heart. She has been working in the industry since 2009, starting her career at Arrojo Studio where she completed their cutting apprenticeship program. Since then, she has dedicated 11 years to building and perfecting her craft in New York City.

    Delisa believes in working with a client's natural texture to create styles that are easily wearable and perfectly suited to their look, beauty, and style. Using a precision-based approach, she tailors each cut to meet the unique needs of every hair type.

    Delisa loves what she does and hopes to share her joy and artistry with you.

    Born and raised in a small town in Michigan, Phoebe has loved all things beauty and fashion for as long as she can remember. She knew she wanted to do hair by the time she was eleven and has been chasing that dream ever since. At eighteen, she moved to Arizona, where she attended cosmetology school and began her career behind the chair.

    Phoebe fell in love with hair color because it allows her to be both creative and technical—she loves that the possibilities are endless. She specializes in lived-in color, blondes, soft brunettes, and effortless blends that enhance her clients’ natural beauty.

    Her goal is to make hair easy and wearable while still achieving her clients’ dream look. Phoebe is passionate about maintaining healthy hair, preserving color, and creating blends that grow out seamlessly. Most of all, she wants every client to feel seen, heard, and confident when they leave her chair.

    LIVED-IN COLOR + CUTTING SPECIALIST

    Originally from Massachusetts, Lorissa Polys began her hairstyling career in 2019. She completed an intensive one-year assistant training program and spent several years honing her craft at Ochoa Salon & Spa in East Longmeadow, MA. In 2024, Lorissa took her skills to Fort Lauderdale, where she continued to grow professionally before joining our team.

    Lorissa specializes in layered cuts, curly hair, lived-in color, and low-maintenance highlights. Her technical precision and love for effortless beauty make her a go-to stylist for clients seeking dimensional, easy-to-maintain color and texture. She also has extensive experience in color correction, helping clients achieve their dream look no matter where they’re starting.
